Another busy day in the kitchen for us. Birthday parties to cater for, orders from large business contacts and the usual requests from our regular customers.
The other day we had a last minute order for Chanel, the theme was black and gold, the cupcakes had to have black swirls and edible gold leaf on top, probably some of the strangest cupcakes I have had to make but the staff at Chanel loved them.
Very sad to have lost Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Chiswick as one of our customers, Union Jacks, the restaurant closed just over a week ago due to Jamie concentrating on other brands in his restaurant empire. We would like to wish Ed, Connie and the rest of the team best wishes wherever they end up working.
A man on twitter tweeted that his teddy bear had gone missing just as a dozen raspberry and white chocolate cupcakes went missing from our kitchen, all very strange.
Anyway, must go, another large order has just come in...
